DS was looking through our Christmas album and told us how his cousin told him when they were about 8. But he kept on believing for at least 1-2 more years. By middle school, I knew he knew...He now giggles at the memory and I am so glad he got to believe for a little while. DD knew around 9yrs old and told me she knew... I tried to say that I still believed and she said "it's okay, Mom". I tell them that I will always believe in Santa. I was a bit crushed when I found out in 5th grade b/c of a teacher... that really stunk to find out that way.

    That is so sad.
My DD will not give up on her beliefs. She had found the elf in my dresser but still refuses to give into reality. I think she has doubts but she really doesn't want to give it up. My DS on the other hand will have no problems finding out the truth.

I'm thankful for piles of laundry. It means my loved ones are nearby.
