or Ellison Extended Cuts - anyone have a great way to store these and the 13" cutting pads? My collection continues to grow, however, I have not found a great storage solution for them yet. Throw your ideas out there.

I have a lot of them too but for the time being I just stack 'em on my shelf along with my large # of Sizzlit alpabets.

I bought my first sizzix strip and have not been too successful in using it. What am I doing wrong?

    Darlene,

What machine are you using it on? Do you have the 13"cutting pads?

    Darlene,

Which machine do you have? The strips cannot be used in the original SIZZIX. You need the SIDEKICK, TAGALONG, BIGSHOT, or the BIGKICK. And you do need the 13" cutting pads.

As for storage for these, doesn't sizzix sell a container similar to the sizzlet one? The strips would be seated long wise. Hope this makes sense.
Also, I have the Big Shot and only use the original white board it comes with but I do have the 13 inch clear thingys and just do half at a time.

I have seen these and I have also tried to fit them in the Sizzlit alphabet holders plastic containers, however it was not long enough, so the container they sell to store them must be longer yet. I really would like something other than their storage system.

This is how I have been storing mine as well. Yesterday, I finally broke down and purchased a Sizzix decorative strip storage container to store them in - it will store 10 of the dies.

Just an FYI should you order one of the Sizzix cases to store the long dies - the 13" cutting pads do not fit in the container. It holds 10 dies which I had so it is filled.
