Our 2nd visit to Walden's Pond - so just a simple LO this time around. While we were there this time, I was interviewed by a Boston Globe reporter about road trips with my 2 sons (still haven't seen the article, yet - LOL)

the "pond" is raised with dots - so that end didn't scan that well. TFL sam

Just a closer look at the title - it's a cut out from a photograh - the scan looks like an overlay - but it's just the pond water on the bottom of the pic.

Sam, how do you get the journaling around the picture?? The LO is fantastic and I love the title out of a picture. Are you doing part digital and part paper and glue?

    truly amazing!
what size are the tall center pics? do you print them that size exactly or just print big and then hand crop?

This is all cut-n-paste. But, I do all my LO designing on the computer before I make one cut or paste one thing - it gives me a visual of what I want to do, sizes of photos & emblishments, etc.

I printed out WALDEN in a large font - cut it and used it for the letter's templet. The center pictures are 2.5" x 6" so the box is 7.5 x 6 = I formed a box and did 4 lines of journal to match each box side, placed it in the right spot, took out the box form and printed on cardstock.

I store all my digi photos on a CD - when I've got my crop size figured out, I just crop the photo to size in Photoshop & print. Saves paper.

Thanks everyone for looking -- sam
