I'm on board I see Americana Turkeys in my future![]()
I would like to start collecting Thanks/Thanksgiving Cards for the troops. I will contact an organization that will get the cards to the personnel in the field.
Any and all cards would be welcome. Hand crafted or computer generated. Let's send this over the top. If everyone did three cards it could equal almost a thousand cards.
Each card should include your first name only. All cards must have an envelope and you can put your return info on it or not. I really think they appreciate being able to put a name with the card.
What do you think? Can we do this? I will pledge to send 20 cards myself.
Let me hear from you. This is the best place going and I know we can make a difference.
Join me.
Uncle Sam wants a few good card makers.
I want YOU!!!!

Hugs to all of you!

Gail, when do you have to have them for the servicemen to get them by Thanksgiving. The time frame will decide if I can participate. I would love to so let me know.

Gail, wonderful idea! I'm in!
I'm thinking that if we had them completed by the end of September they would have plenty of time to get to the personnel in the field.
Would that work for everyone? I am also thinking that I should post this on the discussion board because it seems like the only topics that stay on the active topics board are the games. What do you think? I think that it will get more attention and more people would join.

Gail,
Would you take blank Christmas cards, too? The timing should be about right - and I'm sure our soldiers would love some beautiful cards to send home to their family and friends.
Thanks so much for doing this. I'll do several thank you cards. Let's see how many I can get done before it's time to mail to you!
Pam
Thank you so much. I think Christmas cards would be great. Maybe we could send Christmas cards for them to send home. Just a thought.
