I just got home from seeing "The Jane Austen Book Club" movie and loved it - loved it - loved it. A nice, gentle movie that could have been written by Austen, herself. If you want a treat - treat yourself to this movie!

My husband and I went to see Ratatouille this weekend since we are going as Remy and Alfredo Linguini for Halloween. Cute movie and we saw it for only $2 a piece.

Just watched "Miss Potter" the story about Beatrix Potter (not Harry's auntie - LOL) - it was so sweet and enjoyable, I highly recommend it! The cast is fantastic, too. Gotta go watch it again (it's on DVD)

Did it mention that she did watercolors of cells? I read in Mental Floss that she used to do watercolors of what you saw under a microscope and wrote papers. She had to give them to her Uncle to present them because no women were allowed. Then she was persuaded to find a more traditional or ladylike profession

I just saw Miss Potter a few weeks ago, my 24 yo DD recommended it and I loved it! What a brave woman she was to pursue her dream despite little support from her family. Her books are so wonderful, her books are timeless and I hope they remain that way.
