Does anyone have any of the idea books? Are they actually a catalog and idea book? Do you like their stamps? Do you think their prices are comparable to other companies?

My sister used be a consultant (she still is, but she doesn't do enough that she had lost her discount) There's 3 ideas book per year. In my opinion, the idea book has some ideas but it's mostly a catalog. They show a card or LO with each stamp set and they include a couple of techniques. I have gotton some ideas from the book.

I love their stamps! I love the acrylic stamps. I don't know how they compare with other acrylics; price or quality. The only acrylics I have are from CTMH.

I also love CTMH's albums and page protectors. I don't think I would ever buy any other brand!

I went to one party and I thought that the stamp pads were pretty nice. The stamps are nice, too, but I don't think they are any better than any other clear acrylics.

CTMH really pushes its clear acrylic stamps,a nd they are pretty cool. Their idea book is a catalog, but doesn't have the breadth or depth of SU, but they do have images that are unique to them. Their prices seem cheaper to me because you aren't paying for the block of wood every time. I haven't been disappointed with anything from them yet.

I recently had one of their parties and the party was over $500.00 sales. As the hostest, I used my "earnings" and got the all the different size acrylic blocks and different two or three stamp sets. They are wonderful, but I have found that the quality is just as good at Joann's, Michaels, etc. and you can't beat their prices (that is J's and M's even without a coupon compared to CTMH). Their catalog/idea book is very nice and their papers are wonderful, but it's just my opinion you could go to a very high end scrapbook store and purchase the same quality and save the extra bucks on the shipping and handling, etc., which really seems to add up.

It was a great experience to host and the products are great, everyone had a great time, even though the consultant was not too knowledgeable at all! Also, I guess I would like to get more for my money, plus I like the satisfaction of walking out of the store with my purchase and not waiting two weeks for it to arrive.

Just my opinion - very nice, but prefer going to stores.
