Has anyone seen or heard of this new dispenser from Glue Arts? It's called the Glue Glider Max and is supposed to be much easier to load than the ATG. I haven't seen one but saw the ad in my LSS. I know that the ATG has a great reputation so I'm a little skeptical. Like, if it's not broken...... Here's a little info:

I have seen the ad, but not the adhesive gun in person.

I do have the ATG and I don't find it difficult to reload if you were wondering.

I'll stick with my ATG too. It just takes seconds to reload and like Ziggy said, not difficult to reload at all. Plus, the other one doesn't look as comfortable to handle as the ATG either.

It also doesn't say, that I found anyway , how many yards of adhesive you get on a refill. With the ATG you get 36 yards. It would be a good idea to do a cost comparison between their refills and the ATG refills and yardage between the two. My ATG has saved me a ton of money on adhesive.

Now this is exactly what everyone is talking about on this board. Great support, good information and lots of help. Plus I'm able to save a few bucks. Thanks,

Gosh, that thing is even bigger than the ATG!

I bet you pay more for the refills, too, because they come in that cartridge. Me, I don't mind refilling my ATG at all. It's not that hard and I don't have to do it that often!!

I think I NEED an ATG. Who carries them? I have AC Moores, Mikes, and Hobby Lobby. AND my DH just gave me $100 to spend on me and I definitely will use it on SB stuff. Plus he has for me under the tree, a gift card to ACM and a Xyron 500. It going to be a scrapalicious Christmas. I love it!!

You can buy the 1/2-inch (tape width) ATG's for pretty cheap on EBay, but I prefer the 1/4-inch size. I got mine at Framing Supplies who has the best price around. Their tape is pretty cheap, too.

The tape for this adhesive transfer gun (ATG) is very strong, and they have acid-free as well.
