I read this article on Embossing With Your Inkjet Printer, and thought hey that looks like it would be great for sso many things! Especially titles for LO's and sentiments for cards.

If anyone has tried it please share!

If I get to try it soon I'll let youknow how it goes.

Great tip Christy! By using the printer it will open up so many more shapes and lettering for me. I have all the stuff to try this with and have never done it. Now I'm going to try.

I have HP printers and never knew they were inkjet...LOL. I leave that up to dh. Anyway I love them they are great printers.

Wow! Christi, this is really cool!!! It's like, "Duh! Why not?!" I think I am going to try this with damp semi-glossy photos, too. It would be interesting to see if adding a bit of embossing powders to an actual photo could work. This is a whole new avenue of fun to explore! I will let you know how it goes...

Thanks for sharing this. How did you find this site and info...were you surfing the net and just happened on to it?

this is a great tip Christi! If I try it out and it works do you mind if I add it to tips and techniques? I am wondering if setting the image to high so you get the most ink would then work on just plain cardstock.

Judy- I have an HP printer and one Christmas they sent me a really cool cd with holiday paper craft templates, printables, songs & ideas on decorating. It gave you a link to their site for more ideas... Ever since then I check in on their site once in a while to see what new free things they are offering.

Lori- yes,if it works absolutely do add it to your T&T page!

Clarinda- that's what I thought too! Oh the Possibilities!!

    Hurry somebody try it!

I print on vellum and use embossing powders. I've done a lot of personalized note cards this way.

I have an HP all in one inkjet printer. Once I get my carts replaced, I think I'll try this. Thanks Christi for the info.
