Roberts has the Ribbon Iron in stock. It is priced at $16.99. If one was to use their Monday coupon for 1/2 off that makes it $8.50. Not bad. For the rest of the week, a 40 percent off coupon could be used on it. I ALMOST took the dive and bought it, today. BUT, I WAS A GOOD GIRL and put it back on the shelf! (Hmmm Wonder how long I will hold out with my new-found self-control???)

I use my curling iron to iron my ribbon.

An iron ribbon is designed to pull the ribbon throught the two plates to iron out any wrinkles.

Hey, don't blame me...Bonnie started this!!! She is the one who was bold enough to post a picture of it on this forum!!! And even there we discussed going to the thrift store for a hair straightener instead of buying this new gadget. Buttttt, I saw it and it is soooooooo cute, in real life! What's a scrapbook addict to do?

LOL. So if it has two plates, is that better for the ribbon than a regular old iron?

One plate or two is probably not important. As long as it makes the ribbon straight is the main issue, I would think.
