Can you post a link to the card that you saw on SCS?
Actually, I found the reply I got from the company and copy/pasted:
Using the CuttleBug ™ to cut and Emboss Spellbinders® Style Dies:
Cutting Sandwich- ( Stack from bottom up )
1. A plate
2. C plate
3. Spellbinders die face up ( rough side up)
4. paper or cardstock
5. B plate
6. run through Cuttlebug machine.
Embossing Spellbinders Dies in the Cuttlebug- ( Stack from bottom up )
1. A plate on bottom
2. Spellbinders die face up (with die cut still in die)
3. 1 Spellbinders tan polymer mat
4. 3 pieces of cardstock to shim for more embossing detail
5. two B plates on top
NOTE: If using a Spellbinders Edgebaility card making die only shim the embossing sandwich with TWO pieces of cardstock.
Run through Cuttlebug machine
Continue to decorate and embellish your die cut out by turning the Spellbinders die over and inking or chalking thru the openings of the die.
Results are beautiful ?
Hope that helps.
whewie the dies are pricey but dang they are way cool. This is a very cool site, check out the examples of altered books and the rubber stamps that cooridinate with the dies. I think this site deserves it's own thread so I'm going to post it. I would also like to see the link to the card Sue, there is so much to get through at splitcoast it's almost impossible to just go browsing to find something. I need examples because sometimes I am so bad at visualizing, but I sure can visualize flowers made with those scalloped heart dies.
In general, I've stopped adding comments to the forums for several reasons, but thought it might help others to pass this on...If you feel more resistance than normal when feeding the cuttlebug sandwich with Wizard dies through your machine, back it out and adjust the sandwich until it feeds through more normally. I broke my cuttlebug-blew the side off it and stripped the gears-by feeding a sandwich through embossing a Wizard die. They do work, but you need to be careful to adjust the thickness.Originally posted by thecountryrose:

Okay Ladies, Go to www.splitcoaststampers.com
then hit galleries, in the search type- Classic Sympathy- the card is made with the OH SO LOVELY stamp set. I just love it! Thanks for the info too!.........Sue

RosieGirl- thanks for that info. That is important info. to have! I wonder if the responder to my question at Spellbinders is aware of what happened to your Cuttlebug? That would be good info. for them to have so that it doesn't happen to someone else.
oh goodness. I wonder what normal pressure it I used one last night and really had to put pressure to get it through. I was embossing a piece of grunge board. I got it through but man if you had arthritis or a bad shoulder you're not getting it through there!
