    How do I convert a color image to a black and white? I'm trying to use photoshop right now.

    well didn't find that but found something that works just as well. found filter gallery and did halfscale.

    I can't speak for regular photoshop, but in elements, it is under enhance-color adjust, remove color. You can also adjust using the saturation.

    lol couldn't find that but under image I found mode and grayscale

    Ziggy, in photoshop that's the way I change to black and white - mode and grayscale. Just remember to save as for your converted pic so that you don't loose your color image. You can't go back from black and white to color.
