Judy,
I'm in. Can't wait did ones for great nieces and had a ball.
OK, here we go...
This is going to be a swap where each person will alter someone else's name. The letters will be in the range of 2 1/2" to 3 1/2". They must be altered at least 4 times (paper, ink, chalk, brads, ribbon, charms, flowers,or,...etc.) Each person will specify their color theme. After the swap has been closed, each person's name will be assigned a letter code. The coded letters will be posted and each of the participants will inform me as to which letter code they want. I will pm them with the person's name associated with the coded letter and the color theme...thus you will actually be choosing your own special SAS friend to do.![]()
The swap will be due the last week of Feb. 2008.
So, let's start the sign-ups!

I'm in too please. Will we be using paper, chipboard, wood or other letters?

To scrap or to cook, that is the question!
Judy - do you have a sample? Will each letter be altered/emblished? Or do we mount the name on cardstock or something & emblish that? Sorry for all the questions - just trying to picture what you have in mind.
thanks, sam
I'm in when I know what we are doing.

Sam, I have no sample made and cannot get to it for a few days... However, the letters will be made separately (loose) and each embellished. Chipboard letters would be best. If the letters are made individually, this will give the receiver the ability to use her name in the manner of her choice, whether she wants to secure it to a background of cardstock, wood, or something other. Does this help?
I plan to use mine on a nicely decorated board as the background so I can hang it in my scrap area.
