I was looking through my new book on photo cropping and was amused to see that for making even-sized strips for photo weaving, the author used her paper shredder! How cool is that!!!??? I can hardly wait to use mine and try it.

You'll have to try it and post. I'm having a hard time visualizing that.

I never heard of that but... I have heard of making your own quilling paper. I just got a electric paper shredder at work and it make great straight cuts! I need to do this stuff in the evenings.

I've made a rose that Angie is teaching and I'm going to use it on a lo!! Yea!

I can understand that. If it is not a crosscut shreader. Mine makes long narrow strips also. I have a friend that uses my shreds in the bottom of her animal cages.

If you use a cross-cut it may be interesting to see it put back together in a diamond pattern with some solids. Like a mosiac type of thing. It would be like a puzzle to put it back together, though.
