Whooeeee!!! Get to be first (& last for tonight, I promise). This one just sort of evolved from what I originally had in mind when I saw this sketch. But I think I like the end results.

I like the results, too!!! The colors match the 3 word sentiments nicely. How did ya do the paper flecking (is that a word?)?

Don't know what word I used that triggered admin to censor my other reply so I'll try again. Sam, the paper came that way - it's more Miss Elizabeth's. The message inside inspired the words on the front :
    Tenderly...
    may time heal your sorrow,
    Gently...
    may friends ease your pain,
    Softly...
    may peace replace heartache,
    and may warmest memories remain.

What a beautiful card Carol, love the saying also..I will be saving that one for future use. Love the color combo's.

Sam as always very nice card. Is that flower a punch or sizzix or another sticker saved for future use?

Both cards are beautiful. Carol I really like the colors that you used- how appropriate and calming for a sympathy card. I also like your flowers.

I bought a couple of HOP templates at CKC in Sept. The "flowers" are from the Fold It Swirls one. I used paper I made & a couple of different colors of chalk. May use a fixative on the next one as the chalk seemed to rub off too much.
