    Hello hello...
Well the news is better than I thought... I have a very bruised Coccyx.. the doctors says this will take quite some time to heal for me because of my other problems. He didn't send me for an xray.. he said that there is every possibility that my fall put a few more cracks in my lower vertebrae but that is to be expected. I have a degenerative disc disease.. that is why I have to be so very careful. So there you have it.. I am going to have problems sitting for quite a while but at least it not as serious as it could have been. Praise God for that.. thank you all for your prayers.. you're all so very special. HUGS.

    love.. Angie

Good to hear that it wasn't any worse than that, but it still hurts really bad even bruised. I have done that before and boy, it just makes you so sick to your stomach too. Just take it easy, get lots of rest and my thoughts and prayers are with you for a fast recovery.

Angie- hope you make a speedy recovery! My mother once 'broke' her coccyx and she was told to sit on an inner tube. It really helped her a lot. Maybe you could find a pool swimming ring and use one of those to help you sit more comfortably.

Angie, glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious. You take care of yourself, and no more rushing to the phone.

Oh, Angie, you had been on my mind! I didn't know that you fell! OUCH! I hope that you will heal much faster than expected!! Will this keep you from making your lovely flowers? Can you make them laying on your side?

I ask that because when I was in bed and unable to walk upright (had to crawl) because of my ruptured discs, I had to paint ceramic baseball figurines for a local sports store while I was laying on my side in bed. On good days, I could slip out of bed and kneel on the floor and paint the figurines as they sat on the seat of a kitchen chair!!! Was that a tough job to complete! I was so glad to have my back surgery and be able to walk again!! I wish there was a surgical option for you, my friend!

Are you able to use a 'donut' (an inflatable inner tube made special as a bum supporter)? That would help to keep your weight off the coxcyx area.

BTW, I started over on the thing I am making you. I didn't like the way the first one turned out...
