Such a neat LO. Tell us about the ornament exchange please.

The ornament exchange is something a group of us do each year. This year there were about 10 women there. We each bring a wrapped ornament valued at about $10. We try to use attractive packaging to make ours more desirable. Then we put the packages in the center of the circle and each draw a number. No 1 chooses a pkg and opens and displays it. No 2 then has the option to steal hes or choose a new package. If she steals, that person then has the option to choose a new package or steal. We limit the no of times an ornament can be stolen to 3, and you can't steal back the ornament you just lost. Game is over when last pkg is unwrapped and hopefully everyone leaves happy. Can get a little 'vicious' and deals are cut!
Oh, and the festivities are preceded with food and drink, and it is a night away from home!

I like the LO and the ornament exchange. Sounds like fun. We did a silent auction a year ago, only we had to make the ornament. I also love the Chinese Gift Exchange. We use it often in this area as it leads to loads of fun.
