anyone interested in this? If so I'll post I'm too lazy tonight, but figured if someone posted interest I'll type it up tomorrow, it has mayo, sourcream, sugar, vineegar, sliced cucs and onions. I added caraway seed you can use dill instead.

Yes, I would be interested. We are getting our cukes in our garden and DH picks them too early so they're bitter.

It sounds like a recipe my Gram made. I could never get it right, because she was a pinch of this/dash of that kind of cook. Please share a recipe!

Cucumbers in Sour Cream

2 small cucumbers
1/2 sweet onion
4 oz sour cream
1-2 Tbsp white vinegar
1-2 Tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper.

Thinly slice cucumbers and slice onion into rings. Mix together other ingredients and add vegetables to liquid mixture. Chill 2 hours before serving.

--Ladies, this is the recipe from my Gram which I mentioned earlier. If she made it, you can be sure there was a lot of sugar in it. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing Laura - sounds yummy! My mom used to make a "Swedish Salad Dressing" that was heavy on the sugar but very good too. I'll have to look through her recipes and see if I can find it.

Yes, thanks for sharing Laura. I didn't mean to sound obnoxious; hope it didn't read that way.

Zig that is a different recipe but good too :) They are also good with just vinegar, sugar and purple onion

LuLu I didn't take it that you were being obnoxious (or whatever adjective you used lol, sorry I'm tired)
