Heres mine - not the best photo, but...

I didn't have pics the right size to use (do I ever?) and made a 2 pager - as usual- but really was not happy with the mat straight up and down -
so I cocked it.

Who's next?

great job janelle.
I was thinking that this would be a good one for setting up the photos in Photoshop or other program to do the photos in a collage and then print and put right on the layout.

Cass, that is a great idea. I think I'll try to see if I can get my brain around my program and try it.

Janelle, I like the way you take the sketch and make it your own.

I know that there's a tutorial on this somewhere. I'll have to go look. If I find it, I'll post the link.

It's pretty easy. I do them a lot when I want to do a really quick layout.

Here is my page. One of the great things about moving into a house with an established garden, come spring and summer there are all kinds of surprises. I was wondering what this was going to be when I saw it growing and this morning when I went outside there is was. I just kept the layout really simple because I wanted the flowers to be the focus

Really neat lo, Bree. What size are the pics? The big one looks almost square.

Yes, the larger picture I made 6.0" square and the smaller ones are 2.75x3.5"

Got mine done! My pics are probably smaller than what the layout is but they worked. I'm please with how it turned out! The biggest of the 3 pics is actually a left over X-mas card as is the extra part that says Merry Christmas (with all of our names on it). It was fun!

My 15yo DGD is turning out to be quite the photographer/artist. She took these pics during one of our summer monsoons. Don't know if you can see the rain drops on the flower. It really is amazing. The scanner cut off the narrow black border & it really is straighter than it looks. lol
