Here is the card sketch for the week. I don't remember where I got this. There's a signature on the bottom, but I can't make it out. It was saved on my computer. Sorry to whoever designed this one for not giving proper credit.

ohh very nice! I like the big flower. Hmm someone could almost make this a trifold card and put it on it's side so you'd move the photo anchor to open it. Don't know if I"m that clever LOL

That is a great idea Ziggy! You are "super duper" clever! I may try this when I get a chance.

I used the card sketch to make an altered comp book. The inside is the same green dot pp and the jumbo silver brad looks dark from the scan. I enlarged a flower dingbat outline & cut out for the petals. This was fun! Thanks, Cassie! TFL ~ sam

I flipped the design and decided to try Ziggyeor's suggestion of a tri-fold card. The flower is cut from the same pp and popped up. Also added some glossy accents and glitter glaze to the florals, but it doesn't show in scan...
I really like this sketch, Cass!

What an absolutely gorgeous card. I love the way the pp is carried all the way across. Can you give us a hint on how you did the tri-fold part?

Finished measurements are standard 4.25x5.5 card.
-I made the card base from a strip of 12x5.5 cardstock.
-Score at 4 1/4 and 8 5/8 (that extra 1/8" gives room for the flap to fold over nicely).
-Round the ends of the flap with a circle cutting tool. I placed the edge of the 6" circle all the way at the end of the flap which left about 5/8- 3/4" of straight edge before the flap fold). ** You could opt to cut straight lines into a "V" for the flap
-Pattern paper is adhered to top flaps only.

So there you have it! They are fun to make, and I will be doing many more.

I like those colors, Janelle, and I am inspired by your use of geometric paper for the flowers! I really don't like geo patterns and have a hard time working with them, so this will help me use up the ones in my supply!
