I found the one I did last time it was posted...it must have been in December. I used the sizzix santa die. I hope to do another one more appropriate for this season.

A new card -- the scan doesn't show the ghost flowers that are layered & the brass center brad very well - but they're there. TFL-sam

Cute, Sam. How did you do the border? The first one could have been a stamp but not the second. I can print in a circle but not a square. Do tell.

I like that ghosted flower! Did you make it?
Both of your cards are great (as usual)

Sprout - it's a graphic program I use for my LO's - I can do vertical & horizontal & just any shape I want to create. (it's an old Mac program that's been out of date for ages - it's the reason I'm still working with my old Mac - just can't give up that program) LOL

Cass - no, they're Heidi's (the pink one, of course I traced and cut out). But, I want to start making my own, now. Need to get some inks that'll stick to the plastic to play even more.

thks for the kind comments -- sam http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Great cards Cass and Sam! Sam....I'm curious about the flowers in your first card. I think I've seen you use these several times before. Are thay a die cut?

ScrappySam
07-22-2007, 12:54 PM
Yea, I use that one a lot -- it's EK Success Paper Shaper large punch. I used it, again, in the LO challenge this week, too. I grab that one all the time (got the medium & small ones to match, too) it's an easy punch to alter. http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Sam.......you won't believe this, but I have that same punch!! It is very easy to use. But..mine do not look like yours. You've done a very good job of altering the punches. I may lift your idea and try it for myself. Good job!

Thanks ladies for all the very nice comments. I thought that card came out cute too. That is a TAC stamp set and I chalked the edges of white card stock. Used colored pencils for the flowers and gel pens for the boot.

Oooo, love that card Diana. I also want to know how you did you "Thanks"

Dianacraftstoo
07-26-2007, 12:49 PM
Thanks ladies for all the kind words.
Donna - the "thanks" is a TAC stamp, the flower is a die cut I got at my LSS I will go back and more of those!

Cass - it is a TAC stamp

Sam - yes I chalked the edges to make it look softer

Thanks everyone for looking and the kind words.

Here's my card that I just made for this one. Decided to do the sentiment in middle and flowers outside. The blue outside is really not part of the part just put it on so the it would scan better. And it's really not crocked. LOL

Gee, I have that same stamp, lol. It's relaly pretty Donna. Now, is your stamp pad one of those multicolor ones? Or how did you make them multicolored?

Atty
07-26-2007, 08:21 PM
Thanks Cindy, I stamped them in black then colored the stems with green gel pen and the flowers I colored each one a different color using the sparkle gel pens. That's one from M's $1.00 bin.

I did two for this one. Tanisha and I were bored so we did some challenges http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Here's the first one:

Don't like this one as well. I think because the yellow has nothing on it so it seems plain to me:

NYScrapster
08-03-2007, 09:09 AM
ooh Cindy this was fun..I didn't even do two cards..Your too quick for me..

Both of them are very nice did you ink the flower edges? How do you do that?

NYScrapster
08-03-2007, 09:15 AM
Ok Here is my challenge

I had to create a circle and I put some stickles on the circle to give it a shimmer. I didn't have a brad the right size to fit the flower.

Thanks for looking,
T

mommaidwf

They are silk flowers from Lori's swap. No inking.

All the cards are very pretty. That's what I always looked for...pretty cards...when I went to the store to buy them. Since making one at CKC yesterday, I think that I will make most of the cards I send in 2008. All of 2007's are addressed and ready to mail when the time comes.
