Sorry this is late. It totally slipped my mind. I was so focused on my son's birthday I guess and jsut forgot about it. Here's the sketch for the week.

This one is a new Becky Fleck sketch for february.

Thanks Cass, didn't mean to pressure you. Hope his bday was a good one and you all had fun. How old is he now?

02-03-2008, 09:00 PM
He's 4, I can't believe my baby is 4!
We had a pretty good day. I took him to Toys R Us to pick out a gift. He took about 3 hours. I'm not kidding. He's the most indecisive kid I have ever met.

LOL, that's funny my middle dgs is the same way, I hate taking him to pick out toys I have to plan at least a 1/2 day.

Oh, he just wanted to prolong his one on one time with you!!

I like this sketch, Cassie! I've been playing (not) landlady all weekend, but will come up with something for the challenge -- I look forward to them each and every weekend. :) sam

I kinda followed the sketch. This is my brother, his gfriend and his son getting ready to go sledding last Februaryhttp://www.startascrapbook.com/gallery/files/1/7/8/winter_thumb.jpg (http://www.startascrapbook.com/gallery//showimage.php?i=526&c=)

ohh looks like someone dusted off their crimper :D Looks good. My only thing is (and this could be that I'm tired) but at first I couldn't read the word Winter because some of the blues faded into each other. Maybe back it with something to make the letters pop more?

Tracey cute LO, did they have fun?

02-06-2008, 11:30 AM
This one was a bit harder to convert to 8.5x11, so I just took pieces of it to make my LO work. Camping in the Olympic National Park -- my favorite place and 2 of our favorite camp sites. :)

Great LO's ladies. Kim I have some cubscout pics to scrap love how your papers go with the uni!

02-06-2008, 12:54 PM
I thought I posted it, but I must have hit the wrong button...
The LO is digi, bu if you like the papers, you can always get the kit and print out wahtever papers you want, as many times as you want. That's what I used to do before I went to digi fulltime. There are some great elements in the kit, too, but I know with your talent, you would do some handmade elements, and they would be awesome!

I've posted comments to the gallery also.

:DOK here i smy take on the sketch.
I made most of the embellishments myself, I made the arrow from chipboard. I made the folder (didn't have one) :D

Very cute Cristal, what are they watching, skating? Love all the embellies, very shabby chic, like the way you distressed them too.

Inside the folder it says that "Justice asked Daddy to watch football and as a joke dad put on ice skating, but to his surprise the boys LOVED it and ran to get their slippers and started livingroom ice skating, Dad won't be trying that joke again!"

ROFL too funny!! Great job on the embelishments and I love all the eyelets and the way you staple that ribbon!
