View Full Version : Scraplift Challenge

I blindly grabbed a magazine and opened a page. This is the layout that was on it so the challenge is to scraplift this randomly chosen layout.

I forgot to give credit. This is the aug/sept. issue of BHG Scrapbook's Etc. and it's a layout by Erin Terrell.

Cassie, can I assume that this challenge may take the place of your weekly challenge that you usually post?

01-26-2008, 10:56 AM
oh that's a great idea, will work on this cause I do have pictures that will work for this one.

01-26-2008, 12:23 PM
Wow...when I first saw the title I thought this would work with my dd... she has a razor phone and stuck to her ear all the time.... snap some pictures of that and steal the whole thing....LOL.

Love the LO! I'll see what I can do with it!

Great idea. I was thinking about the sketch, but then I thought we had too many challenges going on so I didn't post one.

mine is from scrapbooks etc. april 2007 and the credits go to Summer Fullerton.

Tracy, great lo. I like the bright colors.

01-26-2008, 04:59 PM
Tracey Great LO
I thought we were suppose to do that too, then I re-read it and took it that we were to do the one that Cass posted so that's what I did, if I goofed at least I got one done. LOL
This was my bday last year, I wanted an cheese coffee cake, so that's what they got me, yummy. The people at the bottom are Adriana, my extended family son, and my dsil. I posted the other page to this on last week LO challenge.

Oh very nice Donna love the greens and burgandy color. (you can also post this with the 52 Week challenge as you put in some 'stitching') :D

01-26-2008, 05:37 PM
thanks Zig, may do that. Wow the next one I'm working on will work for your challenge for something you don't use much and the color combo!

01-26-2008, 05:40 PM
Dang it, I did it wrong. I thought we were supose to open a magazine and do the one we opened up to

01-26-2008, 06:21 PM
tracey that's what I thought too so don't feel bad, went back to read it again and took it we were to do that LO.

01-26-2008, 06:48 PM
Either way is fine. Either use the one I picked or pick your own. They both are great!

I'm still working on the color combo one from last night. Maybe I'll get to this challenge tomorrow.

Donna, that's a good lift!!! I love the flowers you put on the LO. Looks like a Happy Birthday!

Finally got this one done, though mine's more of an 'inspired by' than a true scraplift. I wanted to use it for an entry for my A-Z book, but that's 8.5x11 and this LO didn't really lend itself to being easily converted !!

Thanks ladies, liked this challenge.

Cheryl love you LO and the little is very cute.

The LO on the left is for the "scraplift" challenge. I posted the LO on the right to show the next page in my album & how I matched them (it was from a previous challenge from Cassie). TFL - I loved this, it worked out so well.
((the left LO is of our little rental house we bought in 2006))

TFL~ sam

OK. I decided to give this a try. I am also posting in the Digi section as my LOAD day 28. This is also done for a challenge over at DigitalFreebies..the challenge was to scrap 3 or more photos taken at the same time. (Maria's Weekly Challenge)

Great job Sam, love those colors that you used.
Like your LO too Mom. These sure were fun.

I like the LOs done for this challenge. Sam, your 2 pager was neat. I love the colors you used.

I think the age progression of the little darling was a great idea. I may have to scraplift that one.
