Well, the baby in this LO just turned 20 on Valentine's Day! (think i'm a little behind in my scrapping?)
ANyway, I wasn't taking pics back then with scrapping in mind so i have a lot of not so great quality small sized pics, I've been struggling with whether to attempt 12x12 pages (which is an overwhelming amt of space when the pics are small) or go with 8x8...
Well, the God Lord (and my plumbimg) made the decision for me! Our upstairs plumbing leaked all over my work table and got most of my papers wet-which I took to be God's way of saying " There Christi- I've made up your mind for you- go forth and make 8x8 pages! (And please quit praying for a Cricut already- I have more important things to do)!!"
The Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways...
So, here is my 1st 8x8 LO, pics are of DD Rachel at our camp her first summer. (what will she say when she finds out there are nude pics of her on the internet!?!) http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I'm gonna be in BIG trouble! http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
The beautiful tag was from a swap & was made by Stephanie (slandram from PPM).I used a sketch (though I don't remember where I got it from>> CRS).

That is a great layout. Christi, a wonderful person gave me a cricut recently and I have 3 of the cartridges. I would love to pass the kindness along and share diecuts with you. I have the Basic George, Opposites Attracts, and Doodles and Charms. If there is anything on those I can cut for you, please let me know.

It's a busy LO, but I felt it was missing that little extra something.I added a tiny flower on the B in bath and the T in time and what a difference 2 tiny flowers makes!! I also added the date to the buckle.

Christi.. I saw this over on DIY and commented on how much I loved it.. I love it again. It's funny... I was going to ask.. is this your daughter? and then thought... ooops.. what if it's her granddaughter.. perhaps I best not comment http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Sometime when I'm in a rush to make my comment.. as I was here. I was just so impressed.. I didn't read all the comments.. so you might have revealed all http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif anyway
As I said there.. I love it... I love the colours and I think this little babe is just the cutest! I bet she still is.
love Angie

What a cute layout. I've never attempted an 8x8, but seeing that one makes me want to start branching out into other sizes. Thanks for sharing. Love that tag, too.

Christi, what a fun LO you created. I can't wait until I have a lil "tanisha bun" in the oven so I can put together a lil' scrapbook. I make little scrapbooks for every other baby in the family.....
So are the little sayings a stamp? How did you do that?

Tanisha the saying on little strip at the right hand corner is the nursery rhyme "rub-a-dub-dub 3 men in a tub", and it was a rub on, I just rubbbed them on seperately and then cut them up.
And yes hurry up, I am anxious to be a virtual fairy godmother to a little Tanisha bun!

This is such a cute LO. And Your DD was adorable as a baby. I love the use of pink. I also like LOs that use more than one pic on them. All the elements on this LO just pulled it together. When will we see more??

This is very cute, and it is also getting me thinking about smaller size, less expensive, less guilt about doing single pic lo's!
