I've been working on mom's quilt book for about a year now, all that time trying to figure out what to do for a title page. I knew I wanted to have some kind of paper pieced quilted look and finally came up with this one. The letters are from my new cuttlebug alpha set Olivia and I'm going to hand write moms name in the bottom corner.

WOW that's pretty. Is this book a book of pictures of her quilts or of quilt patterns?
either way, it's a gorgeous cover.

RaRa, this is for a book of pictures of the quilts mom has made. As of today these are the last two pages to add to her book until she starts her next project. http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My mom made a quilt for my DD called "Grandma's Fan". Your title page looks almost identical to my DD's quilt. Love the LOs. I never thought to get pics of my mom's quilts for a LO. I noe plan to contact all the people for pics so I can. Thanks for the idea!!

What a lovely idea to do for her. I quilt for years and never took pictures of the ones I gave away as gifts. A book of memories would be great now. So your mom is very lucky you are doing this lovely memory book of all her hard work of love.

This book has been a fun project to work on, and mom has been pleased with it so far. There are a few pages I'll need to redo if we can ever find her ribbons. She entered three of her quilts in county fairs over the years and only found one of the ribbons that she won. We know they are in that house somewhere! LOL

Thank for looking and for all the kind words! http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
