It's simplistic and I haven't figured out how to make the shadows so it looks more 3d (or add embellishments), but here it is....

Cass - Great job! What software are you using? I know how to make shadows in photoshop, but don't know what you are using.

No, I'm not leaving paper behind. In fact I'm not sure I will like it printed. Do I use photo paper? and won't the patterned papers look too shiny if they are printed on photo paper? It's all very confusing to me.
I just bought Photoshop Elements 5.0 so I can't manipulate photos and use some of the cool techniques that came out in Jessica Spraque's new magazine for CK. I really plan on sticking with paper, but wanted to see how to do it. It was a struggle for me because I don't know the program (at all). I followed a tutorial online to create this, but got stuck at times. Tammy helped me out with some of the shortcut commands and did her own version which you can see on her blog.

I won't print out my pages it is just to put those pictures that I have that I know I won't print out on pages and then to a CD/DVD as a scrapbook CD/DVD, I know some people do print out theirs and then they put embellishments on them to give it a more of a pop to them

I won't be giving up my paper either, my first luv when it comes to scrapbooking

Cass, that looks great! How did you get the circle? Did you just lay out the digital papers in the order you wanted and then crop it with a circle??

Leen - I used PSE 5.0. The first layer I made was a large circle within a 12 x 12 page. Then I opened up the papers and photo and copied them into the circle and did a Ctrl+G to get them only within the circle. It was hard because I really didn't know what I was doing. I think it'll go a little easier if I try another.

I have PSE 4.0 so I'll have to give that a try sometime. Thanks for the info!
