This is cute. I don't usually make square cards but I might try it. Or I might use the design on a regular card.

I love it, Judy! How did you like making a square card? I seem to make square cards before rectangle ones for some reason, even from a rectangle sketch.

Dear JudyJay,
Thank you for the encouraging words and card. I have been in school for 3 full weeks now and I need encouragement. I have learned a lot in this time. Middle Schoolers are a different breed of humans. http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

P.S. I've been around smarties so I couldn't resist being one. Love the card! You have such good takes on the maps.

Here's mine: the flower is metal and didn't scan very well, but looks good in hand. TFL sam

Both cards are lovely and would be great to recieve. Judy you gave me an idea for my DGS. Love that it is so bright and happy. Sam, your card looks as if you designed the sketch. Your soft colors would make it a perfect thinking of you or sympathy card.

Judy, I sure like the idea of your card and it turn out really nice.

Sam, I agree about the softness of the card being a sympathy or thinking of you card. Great card.

Sam, another great card.

I think this is actually the 1st square card I've made. I had to stop & thing about the deminsions to make it. Now, I've got to figure out an envie!

Thanks. We don't have a paper plus but I'll look around. Maybe I can find them somewhere else.

Sam love you card, great as always. I almost did a blue card too. http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Here are my cards. I did a square one and a regular shape one. The regular one is done with wallpaper that is a very dark blue stripe and the little flowers are ribbon. The other is black card stock and scraps.

Donna I like the tiny flower ribbon idea you used -- it looks so dainty with the pink check. They're both very well done!

Nice cards, Sam and Donna. I love that daisy ribbon with the checked paper...very cute! I like the blue and green color combo. Great for male or female.
I agree it does look like you designed the sketch!

Donna, like your cards. I have a box of wallpaper samples somewhere. I never thought of using them on cards. Live and learn.
