I've been playing around with the "white space" concept and came up with this sketch. Sorry it's a bit messy of a sketch.

I like it Cassie! I will definitely be saving and printing this one if you don't mind.

I like it too, Cassie. This is every bit as good as the others that you always post for us.

I think we have our own "Becky Fleck" in the making -- Great Sketch Cassie!!!

I didn't have any "white" space in converting the LO to 8.5x11, but, it was easy to convert. I really wanted to try using some pp for the background (not my usual thing) it was fun. It seems in doing all these trip albums, I haven't gotten to the "people" pics from the trips, yet. Just filling in what's needed -- Oh well, soon I'll have faces in my albums, I hope. TFL sam

That's great, Sam. It looks really good as an 8 1/2 x 11. Love your colors, too.

Cass I love this sketch. My baby just turned 2 months old and I plan to use this sketch for the layout. I hope you don't mind but I did a digital layout of your sketch I was trying to get an idea of size. I didn't have a flower stamp I used a star.

I hope I didn't offend you...

As always a great adaption to the sketch Sam. Love the background paper and the way you pulled those colors into the rest of the LO. Can't read your journal box, would you please tell me where that is and what the Title means? TIA

Cass Way to go you are very talented!

OPPs - no problem.

"The famous painted ladies of San Francisco. We romped through the park and sang the theme song to Full House. The Alamo Square Park knoll is a beautiful spot to catch the skyline of the city and takes full advantage of the landscape."

These are the famous row of houses in S.F. called the painted Ladies - hence the title: Ladies. The pictures are a bit washed out - but the houses are all uniquely painted from the Victorian/roaring 20's era. Also, this park/houses was used for the TV show Full House.

There is also an area in Chasleston, SC and Savannah, GA, that is called "painted ladies". I have SC and GA pictures and that LO would serve them well. Great LO. Way to go, Cass!

NO offense Stacy - I think that's cool!

Here's my take on the sketch:
(I'm not sure that I like my patterned papers together. I may change them out someday)

Cassie, I like this lo so much I used it for my intro page for the All About Me album. The quotes say "Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it." Youth is a gift of nature, but age is a work of art. Garson Kanin" and "The great thing about getting older is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been. Madeleine L'Engle"
