Hello ladies..
I've had a few emails from some of you asking what sort of roses I do.. I thought I would put them here for you all to see. Now I'm not sure if I posted these on the other board but if I did it would have been a long time ago.. so here you are. This one is a BALLOON rose.. it's made up from 20 large balloon punchies and 5 large heart punchies.
I added thorns to the stems.. something I hadn't seen done before.
love.. Angie

Here are two balloon roses.. made the same way except I didn't put the dark stamens in the centres.. I don't always put them in.. just depends on how open the roses are or sometimes.. I put them there because I feel something is missing.

One more.. these a little blossom roses (sometimes called Autumn Roses). They are made using the medium four leaf clover punch. There are 3 shapes to each little rose. There are a couple of tiny roses in this display.. they were done using the small clover.
There is one other type of rose that I do but I don't have any pics of that one.. I'll work on it.
love.. Angie

How about Angie giving us a class on making these roses. They are beautiful. I would love to learn how to do them. Which punches to use and how to put them together.
How about it Angie?

Oh ladies.. I am desparately trying to find a way that I can teach you how to do these.. I'm even considering using my digital camera to little video clips of each step. The problem then would be getting those files to you all... they would be too big to email so I would have to put them on a CD and then post off to each person.. I doubt I could afford the cost involved there..
For now my friends.. leave it with me and let me work a few more things out and I'll see what I can do for you.

Angie - you are wonderful - but don't go to a lot of expense for us or if it comes to expense, maybe we can all get together and send you money for these instructions. Hope you are doing well.

Don't worry Lynn... it's not going to cost me to make the instructions.. I just have to work out how to do them. I have a digital camera which takes little video clips.. I don't have a video camera or the like.. anyway.. if I were to make little clips.. one for each character you need to know.. then in conjunction with written instructions and illustrations.. I'm sure I can do it. I figured then that anyone wanting a copy could deposit cost of postage, CD & envelope.. which wouldn't cost any more than $5 USA..
The only thing is.. how long would this take for me to do? Being realistic I would say probably a couple of months.. I need to work it all out. You know it's all right in theory but in practice it will take some thinking http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and the 'grey matter' <taps head> doesn't work too well these days.
As I said before.. I'm working on it and will let you know asap what I come up with.
love ya all... Angie

Ladies,
I believe that either Picasa.com or slide.com offers the ability to upload a video and have others view it....
see if that will help your delimna..

thankyou Tqmnurse... I've got Picasa.. I'll look into to this... and PLEASE.. if anyone has any suggestions let me know. It would be good to have a place where I could upload files to.. the problem I see is that each little video clip is about 8meg.. I think... no worries.. I'll keep thinking on it.
Ok.. back to the drawing board
love.. Angie

I would love to know how to make them as well. I wonder if there are any directions already out there online somewhere. Is it a technique with a specific name that we can google?
