I really wanted to keep this one simple. All of the detail is in the back of her dress, but those pics. are for another LO another day-LOL!
The lettering is silver, and the mat around the pic is holographic which doesn't scan well- but you get the idea.
The pic. needs a spot of glue behind it I guess- I see it slipped from the photo corner mat a bit. Back to the drawing board...

thanks gals!
Val- I do love my corner punches!- the one on the corners of the LO itself is a Stampin' Up one, the other I think is a Marvy _ I got a whole bunch at a garage sale one day- .50 & .75 each!! Whoohoo! A scrappin' garage salers dream!

Funny you should say that Katy- I seem to ferget them for long periods of time, and then once I use them I use them on everything that stands still ( that's right DH keep movin' or I'll corner round 'ya! LOL).
I seem to do that with a lot of my supplies, don't know why??
Ggirl- didn't seem like those 2 would work together in my head, but when I laid the papers out I thought -cool!

christi, this is just stunning. very elegant. love the paper choices and the photo mat and, well everything. great inspiration for me to use two papers that i wouldn't think go together, at least in my head.

Christi, this is very pretty. Pretty soon I will be doing prom LOs also. I just love the ribbon with the flower over the picture. I would love to see just the pic of the couple posted big so I can see he pretty dress better.

Karen I have a couple of pics that are closer we took at home-that dress is so plain form the front-the WOW is in the back-I'll post them when I get a chance.
We got the dress at a local boutique up near the Syracuse Univ. Campus called Boom Babies, and the guy that helped us pick it out reminded me of Carson from Queeer Eye for the Straight guy! Funny and the best taste in gowns & accessories ever! He took one look at her told her to "spin around honey" & then walked straight to the rack and grabbed this dress, a necklace, shoes & purse-BOOM baby we we're done! The dress fit her to a T and she was a knockout.
I looked at him and said "where have you been all my life?" http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Beautiful LO
WOW I want that guy for my next fitting! LOL my first prom dress was off the clearnace rack at Dillards! I had a formal dress all ready for something for the second one and my Wedding Dress was a clearnce Prom Dress that a friend of the family fixed up for me. The straps were loose and the hem coming undone.
Oh dang still have to get my pants hemmed!
