I did this little 8x8 LO of DD Rachel's High School grad pics (from 2005) last night.

Scrapbooking is so wonderfully theraputic! I relaxed for the 1st time in a week!

The LO went together quick because I had seen a Becky Fleck page map that inspired me! The letters are from the Cuttlebug You're Not The Boss of Me Font.

My alternative title was: HAPPY HAM
Jeesh- can my DD cheese it up or what??! LOL

No Gail, that was from 2005 when she graduated from high school! You're right though- Something like that would make such a fun announcment!

I was just starting to scrap her baby pics, and 2 weeks ago she graduated from college http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif YIKES!- so I decided to switch gears and do some of her h.s. pics while I waited for the college ones to get developed!

All you younger gals have an advantage to scrapbook as things happen, sb'ing wasn't popular when my DD's were little- babybooks were the big thing.

I got her college graduation pics. back yesterday- nothings changed in 2 years-she's just a smarter ham! LOL!!

Way to go Mom! I'm with you on the Baby Book Era. I still haven't converted mine into a scrapbook. I guess this will be a retirement project...if I can ever retire that is! Right now it's still 20 years in the future!

Vonnie- Do you find it's hard taking apart the baby books to make the new scrapbooks,? I think that is what is holding me back so much- I have such vivid memories of writing in them, and adding all the little things. But I know I could do much nicer work now,and really make it something to pass on... just need to take a deep breath and go for it I guess!
