this is wonderful you did an amazing job.


saw this yesterday on diy and went out and got the filters hubby thought i was nuts he asked what are those for i said scrapbooking to make books out of well I got an eye roll. By now he should know my live is all about baby, him and scrapbooking. So when i get one done i will try and post it.

one question do you put photos in it ir just words and quotes?

Thanks for your great comments. I really liked this project and it was not difficult. Rachel did a great job with the directions.

I made a template for the pp but forgot to turn it over for the back of each page. So my big tip is 6 with the template face up and 6 with the template face down. Muy importanto!!!

There a spots throughout the book for photos and each filter is a pocket that you could add a matted photo to.

I have to say that I have never heard of a coffee filter book. It looks awesome from the pic. I wish I could see the whole thing, I bet it is gorgous the whole way through!

Just sold this to one of the teachers at school for her sister-in-laws birthday. She is a buddy so I didn't charge her that much. What do you think is a fair price for a scrapbook like this?

You could figure it on a cost plus basis.

Materials $$ + Labor $$, then add your markup. For something like this I would add probably about 40 to 60 percent. And you can charge anything you want for labor. Mine took me just over 3 hours, so if a graphic artist makes $20 an hour, you could charge a nice amount for this piece of work. Plus this is custom one-of-a-kind.
