Here's my attempt to make a rollerskating birthday party cake. It came out a little weird, but it is what it is now. The party is tomorrow and I don't have time to make a new one. Do you think it'll show up on the cake wrecks blog? The shiny parts are still a little wet, it'll look a little better when they dry.

I forgot to mention that I put an orange grosgrain ribbon around the base. It's from my scrapbooking stash.

thanks. it looks more crooked in real life. you don't see it in this photo.
I think with practice the cricut cake would be a fun tool to have. I'm glad I have one I can borrow. you really need to work fast and freeze the rolled out fondant on the sheets for a few minutes before cutting them.

Oh Cassie! It is NOT going to be on the cake wrecks blog. Although I think it would be funny to make a cake just for the intent on getting it on there, lol. But your cake looks great! You're too hard on yourself.

Looks great to me. Nick looks happy, so what do you care. If it's his Bday, then he's the one to please.
