Thanks Java..
I didn't think to post here.. I'll remember for next time..
This first one I am only showing one view of it.. the octogon on the front moves around and reveals different sentiments.. it starts with Happy Birthday.. the others are.. Surprise; I love you; and Make a wish.
love.. Angie

and here is the other one. I did these cards to show one of my friends that I CAN work with darker and bolder colours I am working on getting even BOLDER... heaven forbid
The flowers on both cards are magnolias however.. the one of this card was done with half a heart shape and the one on the first card done with a pear shape. I was showing my friend how to make the magnolia with a heart shape because the pear punch I got from the good old USA Smiler and she has yet to send for one.

Angie these are simply beautiful!!! I Love The Flowers - I'm all about flowers & love seeing different ones made. Maybe you could post an instruction sheet somewhere to show us how to make them -- please-please-please! TFS sam

Angie - I love your magnolias. Have you ever done a dogwood blossom? I would really like to try one of those. Think they are so beautiful, and soon they will be blooming in full force around here. Spring is so beautiful in Georgia, as I'm sure it is other places. lol

It's funny you mention the Dogwood Lynn... we don't have it here in Australia.. well not that I know of. I was only looking at a punch that is called 'dogwood'... it's on one of my favourite USA sites.. I'm going to get it later this month. Then all I have to do is find out what the Dogwood looks like and hopefully make one that will look a 'little' like the real thing http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Thanks everyone for your lovelly comments..
