These are two cards that I made for a friend to give to his wife. I made the first one for his two sons to give to their mom. The inside says We are so thankful for this day because without it we would not be here to say Happy Birthday and We Love You.

This card is for him to give to his wife.
The charm on the front was given to me by Tammy, the background paper is wallpaper with stickles on the side and the frame around the charm was made with a corner punch.
The inside says

On your birthday I wish I could give you
The Sun, the Moon and the Stars
The Sun to warm your heart with joy
The Moon to light your life with love
The Stars to make your every dream come true
Then you would know how much I love you
Today, Tomorrow and Always

Must be a good friend for you to do such wonderful cards for. The boys card is so cute and the husband card so elegant. Going to have to hit the home improvement store for some wallpaper samples.

Both cards are great. Do you make up your sentiments? They are very pleasing to read.

Thanks ladies for all the kind words.

The sentiment for the kids I made up myself. It's something I would like to get from my kids. http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
the one for his wife was taken off line but I changed several of the lines, especially the last one, I think they had and I wish you the best always... thought that didn't go at all, and I'm a real romantic at heart and the last 2 sentences have special meaning for "me" but it seemed very appropiate for this card. I will be taking the cards to him today, sure hope he likes them.

Donna, those are great! The little boy stamps are so cute and the sentiments in both cards are wonderful. I'm sure he will like them and that his wife will 'love' them.

That is awesome! I would rather reason a card like that any day. It is made for you with love and not just something quickly bought at a store while getting groceries and quick pick up on the way home.
