Pam what a gorgous card!!! You are a floral punch artist too!! What punch did you use for the poinsettia? Thanks for sharing this wonderful card with us. what did you use for the center of the flower, beads? Did you use a silver leaf pen for the edging of the layers?

Hi Diana! The poinsettia was not made using a punch....it was made using a template designed by "The Scrapbook Lady" in the UK and was cut using my digital cutter, CraftROBO. I had to get really "crafty" for the center of the flower as I knew I wanted it to be black. I used my tiny Fiskars punch to punch black fun foam to glue to the center.

Thank you for your comment about my card.

Your card is beautiful. The ribbon with the flower brings the card together and gives such an elegant touch. Are all the papers embossed or did it come that way. Are you from the UK?
Welcome to the boards and am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Your Welcome!

There are some areas where it doesn't have that feature. I use photobucket to store my pictures and they have an image code that you can copy and paste so your image will show up in the message.

Thank you Donna. Besides the card base, there are four different layers and of the four, only two are embossed...the two are are not dry embossed are heat embossed with silver embossing powder and my heat gun...so I guess you could say that all four are embossed! The dry embossing was done using the "Textile" Cuttlebug embossing folder and my Cuttlebug machine...which I call my "Lady Bug"!

No, I am not from the UK...I live in north FL. I became aware of the UK site when I bought my CraftROBO and have come to really love the site and the people there. "thecountryrose", who is a member here told me about this forum and invited me to check it out!

LOL! I had to laugh when you were asked if you are from the UK. The ladies there are so incredibly talented and yours is right up there with theirs http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. So glad you came on over and looking forward to seeing more of your work posted (hint, hint). I think you'll like it here- everyone is very nice. And I will tell you again http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif, this card is incredible and so beautiful. I am actually going to get that embossing folder because of your card, lol! I saw it at HL, but I didn't think too much of it, now I love it.

Pam,
Have a question did you raise layers from each other with foam dots? They look like they are raised up. Love how you design. Want to see more.

Thanks Penny....Yes, I used foam squares twice. There is the card base and then an embossed layer, then there is a layer where the edges are silver heat embossed with another dry embossed layer, which I placed the foam squares under...the last layer with the stamped "Happy Holidays" and the silver heat embossing has the foam squares under it also. I sure hope I made sense!

Hi Ka.....I can't share her poinsettia as she sent it to me personally and I am not sure where that file can be found now, BUT.....I made a poinsettia file after I made this card that I CAN share because it's mine. Here is a link (at the UK scrappers site):

http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=189882

I hope this helps you!

I just got to thinking, the file I used and the file I made, both are for the digital cutters (CraftRobo, Wishblade, etc.) and will be no good to you if you don't have one.
