Hello I wanted to let you all know that I found a new Glitter Paint by Plaid, they are 2oz bottles just like acrylic paints and I found them in with the acrylic paints. For under a dollar. I bought the clear opalescent but they also had silver and gold. I painted this on silk flowers and after it dried the glitter would not rub off! It did dry pretty quickly on my palette (recycled yogurt cup lid http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif so I only put out a dab at a time.

Do you know if Wal Mart carries them? I need to be on the lookout for them.

I wish I had known about this before I went to Walmart this evening. I would have bought some. I guess I can make another trip. I just bought the MM glitter. It's not paint but they are great,soI'm sure I'll love the glitter paint. Thanks.

Lori, my local ACM just started carrying the Lil' Davis Glitter Glaze. It comes in white, pink, blue, and LIME!!! It costs $2.99, but I think it was on sale for $2.09. It's SO much fun to play with.

Thanks for all the info. I went to Michaels looking for the Stickles (they didn't carry), so I bought something called "Sparkly Glitter Glue". I haven't used it yet so I don't know how well it works. Lisa

I bought some to try and it works like stickles! I was so excited, when I did a line it dried and wasn't raised, and I also spread it around with my finger on a flower and after it dried it wouldn't rub off.

Question: Our Michael's doesn't carry Stickles either (actually, no one in town does http://forum.startascrapbook.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif), but they do have Sparkly glitter glue. Don't we have to be careful about using glues that say acid free on them for our pages or are glitter glues safe to use in general?

While I'm at it I might as well ask this one too. I just bought Pearl Ex and I want to play. Reading up on it on Jaquard's site, it says to spray with a fixitive if you use them straight out of the bottle. I only found an acrylic spray in our stores and it does not say acid free on it. Is acrylic spray safe to use even though it has tolulene, etc., listed on the ingredients?

Oooo, sounds great. I do have to get to Walmart, too. I haven't done anything with glitter yet and it seems like the bling is in.

Oh Cassie, I LOVE the bling. I go to WM, and in the craft section with the beads are little bottles that are actually fabric paint. They are 77 cents. If you want to see the color of your cardstock/paper, etc. get the crystal one.

Country Rose, it says right on those bottles that it is for paper. But I will try to contact the company. Also go to wal-mart or Mikes and get the Krylon's workable fixative spray, it's around 5.00 for a can. If you working on a card and you don't care about the acid you can use aerosol hairspray
