View Full Version : Three product challenge

My challenge is to use these three things to make a card or layout (or altered whatever). You can add to them, but you must include them in some way. I think these are things most of us have.

1. A border punch (or decorative scissor or can use a corner rounder to make scallop - whatever be inventive if you don't have a border punch)

2. A stamp

3. A button

and love that tea cup stamp - nice coloring

I took liberties with this challenge - LOL - I borrowed Cass' other block challenge idea and made a block of red paper by folding, sanding and then scanned to use as the digi background. BTW ~ my scraproom looks way different today (again, I'm laughing at these pictures).

Scallop photo frame: Katie Pertiet - digi
Stamp on tag: Katie Pertiet - digi
Buttons: Shabby Princess set - Festival
(others to credit: Flower by Shabby Princess set - Fresh Air / Acrylic Alpha by Pattie Knox and red paper by me.)

Ok. SO not my best card, but I thought it would turn out better than it did. I think I have way too much stuff on the front but I liked the colors...

Wonderful stuff ladies. I think I'll try this challenge if I finish around the house.

I still can't believe how fast everyone is. Those are great.
Sam - what do you mean your room doesn't look like that anymore? How has it changed? It looks like a really nice set up to me.

First, I gotta tell ya - this digi stuff is way faster than cut-n-paste (but I won't give that up, yet). Cass, I've added shelves over my drafting table, better drawer organizers, new puter and a wall bulletin board across the room.

Sam, that is so cool how your name is hanging on your wall! I absolutely loved the way you had it before!

Erica, I love the "trees", Epically the half one. The card looks great. Everyone is doing such great work. It takes me forever to get one page done.

Okay so this does not fit the challenge, but I went off on a tangent, once I got my stamps out!

I try to write notes (2 or 3) to the teachers whose rooms I visit each week. I have not "played" with my stamps for years (really ladies my stampers' samplers magazines are dated 1999! So I made this with some old stamps, and my new chalks.http://www.startascrapbook.com/gallery/files/1/0/7/7/tmpa0_thumb.jpg (http://www.startascrapbook.com/gallery//showimage.php?i=3848&c=4)

Here's mine. I ended up using 3 stamps - raindrop background, the tree and the sentiment.
