This is so yumm-o, especially on a cold winters day! This has been a long time fave of my family.

Super Sunday Chicken

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 slices Swiss cheese
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
12 ounces dry bread stuffing mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cut chicken fillets into bite size pieces (or leave whole, if desired). Place chicken in a 9 x 13 inch pan, and put cheese slices on top. Spread mushroom soup over all.
Mix stuffing according to package directions, and place on top of chicken dish.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

:) I usually flatten the boneless skinless chicken breasts with my handy dandy meat mallet making them all about the same thickness to ensure they cook at the same rate.

:) I have substituted cream of chicken soup for the cream of mushroom, and it works really well too!

:) I always use the 99% fat free creamed soups, and many times omit the cheese when I want to make it even more low fat.

Sounds delish. I used to do something similar with pork chops; just minus the cheese.

I have made something like this, but it didn't have the cheese. My DH loves swiss cheese so I will put that in it next time. :)
