I don't know where I got this one from to give credit, but here's the card sketch:

Whooeeee!!! Get to be first (& last for tonight, I promise). This one just sort of evolved from what I originally had in mind when I saw this sketch. But I think I like the end results.

I like the results, too!!! The colors match the 3 word sentiments nicely. How did ya do the paper flecking (is that a word?)?

Don't know what word I used that triggered admin to censor my other reply so I'll try again. Sam, the paper came that way - it's more Miss Elizabeth's. The message inside inspired the words on the front :
Tenderly...
may time heal your sorrow,
Gently...
may friends ease your pain,
Softly...
may peace replace heartache,
and may warmest memories remain.

What a beautiful card Carol, love the saying also..I will be saving that one for future use. Love the color combo's.

Sam as always very nice card. Is that flower a punch or sizzix or another sticker saved for future use?

Both cards are beautiful. Carol I really like the colors that you used- how appropriate and calming for a sympathy card. I also like your flowers.

I bought a couple of HOP templates at CKC in Sept. The "flowers" are from the Fold It Swirls one. I used paper I made & a couple of different colors of chalk. May use a fixative on the next one as the chalk seemed to rub off too much.

That would be a Sizzix die cut (build a flower), Atty. TFL sam

Love both of those! I also like that sentiment, Carol. I'll have to write that one down. You both left off the part of the sketch that I thought was kind of wierd. I'm going to do the same.

Sam, I love your new Avatar! It's really cute.

What's funny, Cass, is that is what I thought of first - the squiggle. I have some wired viny stuff that I thought of using when I saw that. But then I only did a quarter note card so it was too much. Maybe if I do a 5x7 I will include it.

Here's my card. I had a real hard time with this one, just counldn't come up with anything thing that I really liked. Think the problem was I had the colors set in my head and that was all. Oh well, will use this card as a "hello" card.

I did one, too. I'm not too crazy about mine, but I did use 3 things that I bought a while ago and never used (glitter glue, flower stamp and the tape)

Lovely cards, great color combinations, and such different interpretations. Ladies, you done good.

Carol, I also bought that template at CKC. I've used it once, but will probably use it more often now that I understand what to do with it.

Cass, nice card like the flower stamp. I have that stamp and it's one of my favorites.

Thanks ladies for all the kind words. I had wanted to do flowers on this one but the ones I made looked weird with the saying, but now that it's done I do like it.

FYI Judith, you can trace a swirl, scan it and then resize it. The ones on this card are smaller than the template, but you could make it bigger just as easily.

ok I thought I would do this one but I thought christmas when I did this. This is a very simple card using some embellishments I got from my SS pal(Janice). Thank you Janice! The edges are punched and embossed by a Fiskers punch. I think it is close enough to sample to qualify. TFL

Dianna, great Christmas card. Did you use the Cricut to cut the HO, tree and Merry Christmas?
