Diana was so nice to share some fave recipes I thought I'd jump on the ban wagon and share some too!

http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb67/eluvatar/pineapple-1.jpgI use this marinade with either chicken or pork chops and both come out delicious!

Marinade:

1- 20 oz. can of pineapple slices, drain & reserve liquid
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. In a shallow container marinate meat for several hours. I bake the chops/chicken right in the marinade. Place pineapple rings on top of meat for the last 10 minutes of baking if desired.

This is so yummy and pineapple is a wonderful tenderizer so the meat is nice and tender.

THis is also delicious grilled! When we grill it, I brush the pineapple with the marinade and grill for a few minutes turning once.

Wow! That really sounds good! I might have to make it for me and my DH because our DD doesn't like pineapple. How that happened I have no idea because we both love pineapple, lol!

Oooh! This sounds so good, especially for a hawaiian themed party.

This was good, I didn't use pineapple, I had some orange marmalade and mandrin oranges in the fridge and used them instead. Thanks :)

Cool Cyndi, so glad you liked it. That was a great twist to the recipe you came up with. We love mandarin oranges, so I think I'll give it a try!

MMmm... that sounds good Christi. Have to check now to see if I have soy sauce. If not, it's going on the grocery list, lol.
