These are delicious. My MIL taught me how to make these.

1 can Poppy Seeds (found in can Pie Items) (Seasonal)
1 Tbls Honey
1 Tbls Milk
Confectioners Sugar
1 or 2 cans Cresant Rolls

Mix Poppy Seeds, honey and Milk. Set aside.
Preheat Oven 400 degrees.
Roll cresant rolls as one large round dough. It's best to let them come to room temp.
Roll out and spread Poppy Seed mixture to abt 1/2 inch from edges. Roll up dough and place on lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake until golden brown.
Take out of oven, cool, then sprinkle confectioners sugar on the roll.
Slice 1/2 inch thick pieces.

My DH and DD loves these. I have to make a lot of rolls (abt. 3 or 4 cans of cresant rolls, which makes a lot of !/2" slices) because they eat them as soon as they come out of the oven.

These sound really good!
I've never seen canned poppyseed pie filling. Is this something more than the little jar of plain poppy seeds??

I used to LOVE poppy seed bread when I was a kid. Thanks for this recipe!

canned Poppy Seeds have gotten harder to find. I know Walmart doesn't sell them anymore, never can find them there. But I have found them at Foodworld and Winn-Dixie. They have a different and better kind up North (Mich) my MIL says but I can't go there just for a can of poppy seeds. They are in with the canned pie fillings, usually. They are, as I am learning now, seasonal. Usually at this time of year. It's getting to where I have to ask someone if they have them and where are they. I try to buy up a few cans when I find them.
