After attempting a corner with the Threading Water punch this weekend and wasting a lot of paper, I stumbled across this today:

Guess what I will be making?

I need to try this again. This punch is confusing to me at times, but I know I just need to practice. TFS this. I am adding it to my faves.

After reading this about 5 times, I think the confusing part is that you have to overlap the punched part on the corners. The trimming after each punch sounds weird, but I'm going in and try this tonight, will report in the AM!

I 'get' the tutorial, although I haven't tried it. After my attempts yesterday, you definitely have to trim the next edge in order for the punch to line up in the corner, I just didn't know how much to trim and with the template she made, you will know exactly every time.

I'm not sure if I get the tutorial either. I'll have to experiment with it. TFS.

Hey ladies,

Back in August Cass posted two other links that have directions for the Threading Water punch...maybe one of those would be more helpful for you to understand!! It is in the tutorials here's the link to it:

Well, I've been through this one about 8 times and I think I finally figured it out!

Much easier to use the SU scalloped edge punch and then add holes with 1/16 th inch punch...whew.....
