View Full Version : Scrapbooks etc, organization

I just got my magazine and read an article about organizing a scraproom on a budget. I saw some neat ideas, especially about storing punches in a shoe bag on the door. She also used a lot of pegboard on the wall that seems practical.

Has anyone read the article?

I love this mag, too. I think if I only subscribed to one SB mag., this would be the one.

Hey M..I just got the subscription for this mag (Scrapbooks, ETC.). But they do have it at Wal Mart in the magazine section. I love it and the subscription price is not bad at all! :)

Its the part where Leah shows off her scraproom. I don't remember her last name. I think it starts with an 'f'. It is a yellow room. I just loved it! I want to store my paper how she has! And love the pegboard idea too!!!! I wonder if they have a link to it on the site? I'll go check.

I did not see it, but this did look interesting...

But I also went and looked at my magazine. It begins on page 49. I am looking in the august/september 2008 issue. Is that the same one or do you have the new one? I get a subscription to this one and haven't gotten next months. Sure is slow!!! Ugh!

I do not have a place for over the door storage so this is how ai store the few punches I have.....under my desk...

10-16-2008, 02:22 AM
Ok gf...I want to come to your house and play with all those punches! Fabulous!!!!! You make my little collection look pitiful! Hee hee. But, I am on a punch kick, so maybe one of these days!

And I absolutely love how you did the fronts so you can see exactly what's in there first without having to pull out the dwarer! Clever girl! ;)

I love your storage and how you did the cuts on the front of the drawers....I hate digging through things to find what I need....I like the quick look. Great idea!

It makes it super easy to just look down and grap what I need and slip it right back in place!

I just got another set of the drawers from Wal-Mart yesterday, I have 2 more SU punches coming and they are putting out some more Martha Stewart at Wal-Mart!

Come on to CA Aymee! I have a fluffly Queen bed waiting!

I've never been to CA either! I feel a road trip...well a plane trip actually! I could never drive that far! I hate just driving to AL from PA! Heck, I hate drivng 30 min. away. I just am not a car person. OH, how I wish! We could scrap our hearts out!! Will def. have to think about this for the future!!! I wonder how much a plane ticket to CA would be?? :)
